ZigZag presented two sessions alongside our sister brand Shipup at Deliver 2023 on 7th & 8th June in Amsterdam.
Hosts Al Gerrie, Co-Founder & CEO of ZigZag, and Caroline Gaubert-Amy, Field & Partnership Marketing at Shipup, explored how retailers can optimise the post-purchase experience and provide a unique and hassle-free returns journey for their customers.
The talk was incredibly popular. Retailers from around the world listened in – and even contributed themselves – as Al and Caroline presented key consumer and returns statistics and provided best practice advice on how to shape a returns policy.
On how returns are unavoidable for retailers, Al Gerrie stated, “Not every order can be a complete success. Returns are a natural part of shopping online. Whether it’s inaccurate sizing guides, a late delivery meaning the item couldn’t be used at a social event, or simply the customer decides it looked better on the model…the bedroom is the new fitting room.”
The dynamic duo also discussed ways in which the retailer can save the sale through our Live Exchanges and Refund to Gift Card innovations, boost brand loyalty, utilise returns data, create more engaging and intuitive post-purchase email campaigns, and much more.
