ZigZag invited to speak at Mastercard European Summit 2020
Patrick Eve, Managing Director of ZigZag spoke today at the Time to Accelerate Mastercard European Summit 2020.
The one-day event explored how the digital tipping point has taken place in the business world. “Technology now permeates every part of our lives, from the connected devices in our homes, to the connected wearables on our bodies, to the multitude of devices we carry with us. With all of this connectivity comes the ability to super serve people and communities.” ZigZag were invited to speak to provide insight into how the technology behind its returns solution is innovating retail’s reverse logistics.
ZigZag’s Patrick Eve appeared alongside Amy Neal, Vice President, Product Development of Mastercard and Paul Christensen, Co-Founder & CEO of Previse in the panel discussion “Building a future moving at speed: Incubate, Accelerate & partnership”. A 200-strong audience of tech disruptors were present today at the East Wintergarden in London; the panel explored the key themes of entrepreneurs moving at speed, strong culture vs strong strategy, and of course the importance of partnerships for long-lasting success.
The lively and informative panel discussion might have been a tough act to follow normally, but Comedian/Presenter and Actor Stephen Fry’s ended the event with a talk on “Reflections on a theme” which was certainly engaging. The CEO of Mastercard, Executive VP of Digital Solutions, and the CEO of Doconomy delved into how to accelerate the growth of your business across a multitude of avenues.
In the summer of 2019, ZigZag’s returns management solution fought off competition from over 2,000 companies to join the prestigious Mastercard Start Path programme with nine other exciting innovators. The Start Path has been a wonderful programme to be a part of, presenting opportunities to accelerate and showcase ZigZag’s journey in becoming the retail industry’s go-to returns solution.
