The win makes it back-to-back successes for ZigZag at the eCommerce Awards, after winning the same award in 2023. The Returns Reporting Hub was the star of the show last year but for 2024, a number of initiatives shared the spotlight.
New Look paid returns and in-store kiosks
New Look took the decision to move to paid returns for online sales, but they needed a solution that did it seamlessly. ZigZag’s market leading payment gateway allows consumers to pay anyway they want, including Apple and Google pay, through multiple different currencies.
The retailer also wanted to be able to offer a free solution for customers to buy online but return in-store, without creating long queues of frustrated customers at returns check-in desks – so ZigZag’s Technology and Product Teams worked closely with New Look to quickly roll out return kiosks across a selection of their stores over the last 18 months. ZigZag & DHL onboard hundreds of retailers in just 8 weeks
DHL eCommerce UK wanted its merchants to experience the same sleek and extensive returns journey as they enjoyed utilising DHL’s unrivalled outbound service.
By combining ZigZag’s software expertise with DHL Ecommerce UK's extensive network, this collaboration enhanced the returns experience for all stakeholders by presenting a fully merchant branded experience alongside fast and efficient reverse logistics services.
Portless empowers retailers to manage returns cost-effectively
ZigZag partnered with Portless, a cutting-edge supply chain company specialising in fulfilling DTC orders directly from China and Vietnam with a domestic experience.
Instead of the costly process of sending returned items back to their origin, retailers can now use ZigZag’s solution to quickly provide returns shipping and warehouse handling within the destination countries, ready for in-country disposition, marketplace resale, donation to charities or consolidation before sending products back to their origin.
